The fourth National Delegates Congress of BONABOTO will be held at Bolgatanga
from the 29th. to the 31st. of December 2004, under the theme: “Education
for all, Myth or Reality?" About 200 participants drawn from all
parts of the country are expected to participate in this 3-day event. Among other things, this congress
aims to:
• Devise strategies for the implementation and sustenance of the
Bonaboto Education Assistance Fund (BEAF)
• Enhance unity among the people of the Bonaboto area.
• Identify and establish partnerships for development
• Launch the BONABOTO Website (http://www.bonaboto.com)
• Elect a new National Executive Committee. The Congress Planning Committee
(guided by last year’s expenditure) has drawn a budget for this
year's congress, and this amounts to forty million cedis (¢40 m).
As members of the society are incapable of fully financing this congress,
we are making a humble appeal to you for assistance.
Your donation (cheque or cash) can be deposited into the Bonaboto National
Secretariat Account at Standard Chartered Bank (No. 0100114582000) in
any of the bank’s branches throughout the country, or given to any
of the National Executive or Planning Committee members. Donations in
kind are also greatly appreciated. We are also by this letter,
officially inviting you to join us at Bolgatanga on the said date, to
