Edward Adimazoya is a native of Winkogo in the Talensi-Nabdam District. He holds a Masters degree in Sociology (specializing in Medical Sociology) from the University of Ghana . He also pursued courses in public health at the College of Public Health in the University of Iowa, Iowa in the United States of America .

Mr. Adimazoya has extensive experience working with rural communities, a community development professional by training. He has coordinated the design and implementation of many community based child survival and maternal child health programs in Ghana . He has extensive experience in program evaluation, qualitative and quantitative methods and has coordinated the conduct of anthropometric surveys and knowledge practice and coverage surveys.

Mr. Adimazoya is a trainer in community based techniques and methods, participatory approaches, planning and evaluation, advocacy and in peace building and conflict transformation. He has worked with many governmental and non governmental organizations such as the Department of community development in Ghana, the Catholic Relief Services/USCC Ghana, the Manoff Group Inc, USA and the Academy for Educational Development (AED).

He is currently Team Leader for AED, a USAID sponsored Social Marketing for Health project in Ghana . His research interests are in maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS and the health of child migrants.
